This app's images — in memory only
Every picture you load is held as an in-memory
blob: object URL
backed by your original file. The app makes no web requests,
so nothing is ever stored in the cache. This is the exact, live count of those —
“Held” drops to 0 the moment you Clear or close the tab.
0created
0revoked
0held now
0 Bimage data held
Created = images loaded this session ·
Revoked = freed again (discarded picker previews, and everything on Clear/close) ·
Held now = still in memory right now. Held always returns to 0 when you Clear.
Proves a revoked image becomes unreadable instantly — run it and watch.
Traces Windows keeps
Separate from this app: residue Windows itself leaves on disk. Because this app's
images never touch these, clearing them is a system-wide privacy
wipe, not removal of pictures you viewed here. The most app-relevant
traces are the Explorer thumbnails and file-open history. Scan, then choose.
Click Scan now to inspect your system.
Cleaning only ever touches the locations listed above (each has a
Reveal button to open it in Explorer and check for yourself).
It never removes cookies, history, passwords, or your actual image files. A
running browser/Explorer is detected and skipped, never force-deleted.
